- This episode is similar to "A Stolen Truck and Going on the Lam" on Young Sheldon, this is not the first time Missy ran away. Even when George Sr. was alive Missy rebelled because she was neglected.
- Connie warned Mary that Missy will run away soon if she keeps throwing herself into churchgoing activities in "Memoir" and trying to save Missy's soul in baptism, which Missy declined and led to this episode that made Missy ran away.
