The “Terminator” is a series of killing machines who resemble humans and can be among other forms a cybernetic organism with a robot endoskeleton surrounded by living tissue or composed of liquid metal capable of forming any shape. The most common example is the Model 101 or T-800 portrayed by Arnold Schwarznegger or his likeness in all of the Terminator series movies. In each of the movies the T-800 could be the villain or the hero based upon the story. The original concept was devised by James Cameron in the original “Terminator” movie. The various Terminators have appeared in movies, a television series, video games and amusement park attractions.

In "The Loobenfeld Decay", while climbing the stairs Sheldon and Leonard are discussing "Terminator" and debating why SkyNet would need to create a petite, hot, 17 year old killer robot, since artificial intelligence does not have teen fetishes referring to the then current television series.

In "The Terminator Decoupling", the guys meet Summer Glau the Terminator from the television series and Howard and Raj try hitting on her. Sheldon also wonders if Skynet wanted to infiltrate our world, why not confuse use by sending back Terminators that look liker across that play Terminators.
