Sheldon Cooper's Science Center is a building on the campus of East Texas Tech University. It was established in 1993 by university president Linda Hagemeyer. It was named after theoretical physicist Sheldon Cooper, when he was just thirteen years old.

History[]

The building's original name was "Physical Sciences Center". It was changed in 1993 by Linda Hagemeyer to attempt to get Sheldon's parents to sign an agreement regarding the database. ("Legalese and a Whole Hoo-Ha") It is unknown whether the name was changed again after the attempt failed.
