Rabbi Schneiderman is a rabbi at the Temple of Judea in Houston and appears in one episode of Young Sheldon. One day, he receives a call from Sheldon Cooper asking how to convert. He inquires why is there a desire to convert, and is told that lots of Jewish scientists like Albert Einstein are Jewish. He then asks Sheldon what if his parents would think, a reply of “over my dead body”. He tells Sheldon and asks why he doesn't want to be Sheldon. Sheldon is heavily influenced by those words.
