Keith Carradine

Keith Carradine portrays Wyatt, Penny's father in "The Boyfriend Complexity. Keith Carradine is part of the Carradine acting dynasty that started with his father, John Carradine, and includes five brothers (full and half). Both the late David Carradine ("Kung Fu (televison series)" and Robert Carradine (The Revenge of the Nerds film series) were/are actors. Keith performed small parts in some of his father's Shakespeare productions, but started his professional career in the original Broadway production of Hair (1972). On the Broadway stage he won a Tony Award for his portrayal of humorist Will Rogers in The Will Rogers Follies (1991). On film he was known for appearances in Emperor of the North Pole (1973), Pretty Baby (1978) and The Long Riders (1980) (appearing with David and Robert). He won an Academy Award for the Best Song "I'm Easy" used in the movie "Nashville_(film)| Nashville". On television he was nominated for an Emmy Award for his role as the antagonist in the miniseries “Chiefs (television series)”. He is currently married and is the father of actress Martha Plimpton.
