He is an American actor, known for his work in the films Jerry Maguire, Scream 2, Kangaroo Jack, Joe's Apartment and Piranha 3D. He starred in the Canadian TV series My Secret Identity, the Fox sci-fi TV series Sliders, the NBC series Crossing Jordan and the CBS series The Defenders. One of his first roles was in the film Stand by Me, which also starred Wil Wheaton who appeared with him in the episode "The Bow Tie Asymmetry". Jerry appeared in "The Sibling Realignment", "The Bow Tie Asymmetry and "The Tam Turbulence". He is married to ex-model Rebecca Alie Romijn and has two daughters.
