James Earl Jones (January 17, 1931 - September 9, 2024) was an American actor and voice actor. He was best known as the voice of Darth Vader of the Star Wars Original Trilogy and Mufasa in "The Lion King".
Season 7[]
In "The Convention Conundrum", James Earl Jones was having dinner at his favorite sushi restaurant when he noticed Sheldon Cooper standing in front of him. He correctly guessed that Sheldon likes Star Wars. After telling Sheldon that he too likes Star Wars, James Earl Jones invites him to dinner on his residual "Lion King" check and to have a fun night together. He told Sheldon many anecdotes about his acting career, Star Wars, and his encounters with other actors. The two of them then go for ice cream, go to a carnival where Sheldon shouts to Los Angeles how nice James Earl Jones is on top of the carnival Ferris wheel, go to a strip club to sing karaoke and finally end up in a sauna. They also went to Carrie Fisher's house to do a doorbell prank, something he repeatedly done in the past.
In the sauna, James invites Sheldon and his friends to be his guests at Comic-Con. Also Sheldon became bored to death by James Earl Jones' stories.
