Glendale is a city in Los Angeles County, California, United States with a population of 191,719 (2010). Glendale is the 4th largest city in Los Angeles County and lies in the SE end of the San Fernando Valley, to the west by Burbank and Griffith Park and to the east Pasadena. Glendale has one of the largest communities of Armenian descent in the United States. Grand Central Airport was the first official terminal for the Los Angeles area, as well as the departure point for the first commercial west-to-east transcontinental flight flown by Charles Lindbergh. Glendale is the home of Forest Lawn Memorial Park, studios for Disney and DreamWorks and the Glendale Galleria.

Glendale is also the home of Dr. Amy Farrah Fowler until she moved to Pasadena to live with her boyfriend, Sheldon Cooper.
