"Diet Crap" is the eighth episode of the first season of the American sitcom Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage. The episode aired on January 30, 2025.
Summary[]
Tensions rise when Georgie intrudes on Mandy's new sales gig. Meanwhile, Audrey's conflicted when Jim makes it a point not to coddle Connor.[1]
Plot[]
At home, the trio talk about possibility of baby-proofing the house for the benefit of Constance. Georgie and Jim comes home after getting some money. Jim remarks that he’s getting commission money. At the blubell, Mandy is frustrated at a slow customer, who only drinks warm water with a lemon. On the drive home, Mandy is frustrated while listening to radio, who is probably interested in sales, like diet stuff. At home, she decides to sign up with selling wellness products.
Mandy dresses up and wears a nice dress and goes to places, hoping that people buy it; this was not that successful to her liking. At home, she expresses her frustration. She decides to setup a table outside Davidson's supermarket, but to no effect. Georgie pops by and works his charm so that they get their first sale, to her own consideration. At the end of the day, they go home, and to her own exasperation, she wanted to do it on her own but then, Georgie wanted to her effort; this amuses her mother.
Meanwhile, Mandy takes Constance to the doctor office. While in the waiting room, she somehow got to pitch the items to 3 woman, who immediately purchase some quantity.
At home, Georgie and Mandy talk, to a point that Mandy leaves with Constance back ot their room. She later goes back to a client and apologies to her about it.
