Coke is the nickname of the cola based product that founded The Coca-Cola Company. The product was invented in 1886 by pharmacist John Pemberton in Atlanta, GA in 1886. The method to make the cola syrup was sold to Asa Chandler for $2300 who incorporated the company in 1892. The company started by selling the syrup to regional companies that locally bottled Coke. Today, the company has an annual revenue of $6.43 billion and they produce Fanta, Sprite, Minute Maid, PowerAde, Nestea, and Fruitopia.

In “The Change Constant”, Sheldon orders 65% Diet Coke, 35% Coke from The Cheesecake Factory bar frustrating and angering the barkeeper.

In “The Bat Jar Conjecture”, Penny needs help with her lap tap because she spilled diet Coke, yogurt and nail polish on it.

In “The Grasshopper Experiment”, Sheldon asks for a virgin Rum and Diet Coke, which is just Diet Coke when Penny is practicing mixing drinks.
