The relationship with him and Veronica is strained, as Veronica shows discontent against him due to him being an abusive drunk. He and Veronica's mother are dating and had problems and had been fighting, due to his drinking problems, suggesting that their relationship may be abusive. When he showed up to the Cooper House, he tried to take Veronica home against her will. He tried holding Georgie's shirt but George Cooper Sr. intervenes and knocks him out.
