One day, she came into Video Village and asked for a recommendation between two movies. She was told to get Encino Man and took it home. She later talked to Georgie and had a date, after which she was driven home by Georgie. On the drive, Georgie admitted to his situation with Mandy, which Amber found a little strange though she appreciated his honesty. She in turn revealed that she was going through a divorce, and the pair agreed being around someone whom they had feelings for was complicated.
