Biography

Season 1

Mandy is first mentioned when Georgie makes a bet at 1000 dollars with George that he's not gonna get married before he's 25, Adult Sheldon mentions that Georgie married his first wife (Mandy) at 19 he never paid his father off. (A Computer, a Plastic Pony, and a Case of Beer)

Season 5

She moved from Houston to attend college at Texas A&M in San Antonio. Then she got an internship nearby and eventually a job at a news station, where she dated the station manager. When he broke up with her, he fired her, forcing her to move back to Medford. She meets Georgie who helps her out and starts talking, eventually dating. Mandy begins a relationship with 17-year-old Georgie who lies saying he is 21 while she also lies saying she is 25. Later in the evening she feels too guilty and comes clean to Georgie and tells him her actual age, 29. (A Lobster, an Armadillo and a Way Bigger Number)

She moved into her studio with the aid of Georgie and sleeps with him as a result. He tells her the truth about his age at 17 and she tells him to leave the studio. Later she comes storming into the laundromat screaming at a very hungover Meemaw about how why she didn't tell her that Georgie was 17. After shooting down Meemaw's attempt to bond over men being the worst she slams the lid of a washing machine and wishes Meemaw good luck with her hangover before storming out again. Mandy talks to Georgie about her pregnancy. She shows him two positive pregnancy tests and they both freak out. She says she has never been knocked up by a 17-year-old; she is not reassured that he will be 18 in March. Later, Georgie goes back to talk to Mandy in her studio and asks if the baby is his. Meemaw goes to talk to Mandy about everything. She says she hasn't told her parents yet, but Meemaw lets her know that she has her back. When Mandy is at dinner with the Coopers, they start with grace. Mary encourages Georgie and Mandy to get married and raise their child as a baptist. Mandy still refuses to marry Georgie and points out that her dad will probably shoot Georgie with a firearm if he ever found out. When Mandy leaves and is on the porch, Georgie talks to her and wants to kiss her goodnight but is refused. Meemaw comes out and talks to her, and explains that since Mary and George argued in front of her, she's already part of the family; Mandy appreciated Meemaw's honesty and commitment; although everything is awkward and strained. The next day Georgie visits Mandy at her job at a restaurant and attempts to tell her how he really wants to be there for her, he also tells her he loves her. Mandy comes to Meemaw's house to ask for her advice. Later they went to the baby doctor but Georgie was following them. Meemaw is mad but Mandy lets him stay. (White Trash, Holy Rollers and Punching People)

Season 6

Later on, she goes to Meemaws house wanting to talk to her. She is confronted by Missy Cooper and Sheldon, who suspects she might be burglar after having seen her loitering on Meemaw's porch. They talk and reveal Meemaw is in jail. She and Missy sit, and bond, and Mary comes to greet them. She leaves as a result. (Four Hundred Cartons of Undeclared Cigarettes and a Niblingo)

Mandy didn't pay rent and the landlord puts a padlock on her door with the condition that full payment is expected. She tells George that pregnancy is affecting her job performance. The tips get smaller and are unable to pay the electricity bill, forcing her to use candles. As a result, she goes to Georgie at his garage to stay. She asks Georgie to help get her items and he does so. As they do the clothes, she tells him that she will only sleep together, not have sex at all. She then tries to go into the house to go to the bathroom but is repulsed by the house of George and Mary having sexual activity, so she goes back to use the sink. The next morning, she meets Sheldon and Missy at the kitchen table, while Georgie says he'll make toast. Sheldon calls her “niblingo” a term he created to describe a woman who's carrying his future niece or nephew but is not related to him by law. Mandy is over at the house and gets served food by Meemaw. Later on, she advises on dealing with a boy problem at school. Later, on a lunch date, Mandy and Missy bond and tell her about blonde hair and Madonna being a brunette. In the end, Mandy sees Missy's attempt at blonde hair and is horrified. Mandy is working at the Blue Bell again when Georgie asks her how she is doing. Later that night, Mandy and Georgie are at Meemaw's house watching Look Who's Talking when Missy comes in. Mandy joins the Cooper family for dinner and is promptly asked about menstrual cycles. She refuses to answer. Later afterward, she talks to George about life. She goes with Meemaw to the baby doctor, where she is shocked at the amount of money Meemaw has. Later at the Laundromat, she is shown the casino and is happy that the earnings can pay for private school. (An Ugly Car, an Affair and Some Kickass Football)

Mandy and Georgie at a restaurant where she and Georgie had an awkward run in with her parents. Later, she come storming into the Laundromat because Georgie was talking to her parents behind her back. When Georgie went to Meemaw's house to admit he was wrong, Mandy yells at him. But Mandy saw her father's truck outside the Cooper house so she enters and confronts her father and talks to him; she leaves in disappointment. (A Tougher Nut and a Note on File)

Mandy was working at Video Village when Mrs Howard came and returned a copy of Basic Instinct. Mrs. Howard didn't like that they were renting inappropriate films. Later, Pastor Jeff Difford set up a table in front of the video store to protest the sinful movies. Mandy heard them. She attempts but fails to convince them to leave their table. Mandy visits Dr. Nicholson for a checkup. He tells her due to high blood pressure, she has to have a bed rest for a week. She is in the room, and asks for remote control, which Meemaw gets her. Mary talks to her later. (Ruthless, Toothless and a Week of Bed Rest)

She was asked what she wanted to do for her own baby shower, of which nothing interested her. The day of the baby shower, she was in her room and Missy came in to lift her spirits and to come down. She goes downstairs and talks to the people, who gave her gifts. Brenda gave pads, which she described as necessary due to experience. Mandy calls the Cooper house phone and talks to Sheldon, asking for an adult. No one is there. Sheldon offers to deliver the baby but is refused. She is taken to Medford Community Hospital by Brenda Sparks. She walks around a bit and sees Meemaw who was in the hospital after a hemorrhoidectomy was completed. She brings Mandy back to the room. Georgie drives Mandy and baby Constance home. She is taking care of the child when Missy comes in to talk; She later tells her that she just had a child so she is not able to help her. Sheldon comes to her place to try to placate her child. He witnesses Sheldon sing Constance to sleep with Soft Kitty, and is immediately wondrous how he did so. Mandy bought two sessions of spa treatment for her and Goergie at the Piney Woods Hotel and Spa. She wanted him to join, to his chagrin. There, they arrive in a room, and the massage therapist arrive. They engage in an awkward conversation where he makes his points, forcing her to get up in the middle of the session and leave. Mandy and Georgie goes to the McAllister’s to tell them about the wedding, she gets into a fight with Audrey and tries to leave but a storm stops her from doing so, Jim makes them get shelter in the bathroom, Georgie tells her that they might not have a big wedding and tells her the price of the ring which shocks her. Season 7

Mandy goes to live with the Coopers, she and Georgie ends up getting Sheldon’s room. Later, Mandy visits the gambling room and is proud at Georgie from all the customers in the gambling room, Georgie reveals to her that Audrey (Mandy’s Mom) offered them a place to live, Mandy declines and says that her mom has been plotting her life since she was born. Mandy is in the kitchen while Georgie comes in with flyers, Georgie thinks of becoming a guitarist, Mandy asks why, Georgie tells her that its so her love for him deepens, while Georgie gives George Mary’s letter, Mandy says that she thinks its romantic that he and Mary are writing each other letters. Mandy reads the letter Georgie made and flirts with him. Later, when George tries to use the restroom, he sees them taking a shower together. (A Strudel and a Hot American Boy Toy)

Mandy, George, Georgie, Missy, and CeeCee are eagerly waiting at the airport in Houston for Sheldon and Mary to arrive home from Germany. When they arrive home, Mandy tells Sheldon she and the baby have been sleeping in his room, and when he asks if he could get his room back, Mandy declines. This forces Sheldon to sleep on the couch and is constantly woken up by CeeCee's crying and when Mandy hears about this she doesn't help him. Missy asks Mandy for party advice but when Mandy was giving her the advice Missy asks Mandy if she can buy them beer but Mandy declines it saying that the only underage person she's ever gonna buy beer for is Georgie, Missy tells Mandy that she's really not cool and leaves, Mandy thinks about what Missy just said. Mandy finally plans the wedding when Mary asks about it, but when she learns that Mary and Audrey have baptized CeeCee without her consent, Mandy gets mad and goes to Dale's house to talk to Meemaw about it, while the two were talking, Georgie comes in with flowers and Mandy finally makes up her mind and chooses to get married in city hall.
