It happens to me. I sometimes wish I could escape the real world to avoid sad things like wars, awful historical events or politics. I also hate voting in elections and I hope I never vote again in my life. I think most of the main characters would agree with me most specially Sheldon, who is the one I find the most similar to me. I sometimes wish I could ignore the real world completely

I admit I usually find fictional characters cooler than real people and I'd sometimes rather be friends with them than with real people
